Come Worship With Us

 

Our regular Sunday worship services begin at 10:30 a.m.  Nursery is available, although we don't mind a baby or two (or more) in worship! Children's Church is offered following the Children's message; children return to the sanctuary to participate in The Lord's Supper, which we celebrate the first Sunday of every month except during Advent. Children 12 or younger are invited to participate in Children's Church. We encourage all youth 13 and older to remain in worship with their families.

Our worship atmosphere is not formal - you are more than welcome to come in jeans or shorts, if that is how you are comfortable.

 

On the second Sunday of each month, at 4:00 p.m., the church hosts a Taize-style worship service which invites participants to take time to listen deeply, pray quietly, and celebrate the love of God with gentle music.

 

Throughout the year, special worship services are held to celebrate:

• Christmas Eve - including the Lord's Supper

• Ash Wednesday - a service of intention, the beginning of Lent

• Lenten Soup Suppers - Wednesday evenings during Lent, a time for deepening faith and commitment to Christ

• Holy Week - services to commemorate the final week of Jesus' life

• Easter Sunrise - welcoming the resurrection with Scripture and song

• Pentecost - celebrating the gift of the Holy Spirit (and the 'birthday' of the church!)

• Worldwide Communion Sunday - the first Sunday in October​
